My whole life, I've had to hear people tell me I'm not beautiful. Sometimes I even hear people whisper that they think I'm ugly. It hurts. It's made me so insecure. And that's why I've never had a man. Really, never. I'm that insecure. And yet, I'd love to. But then you have to promise me not to judge me by my appearance.

Is it really so crazy that I, as an old person, am signing up here? Where else am I going to find sex, I wonder? Not at home, because my husband is in a nursing home and can't do anything anymore. My girlfriend says I'm too old for this nonsense. I think it's nonsense. I'm hot and still want sex. Sex is an outlet for me, and I desperately need it right now.

It's always nice to meet someone you're on the same page with. It's been a while since I've had someone like that around, so I started looking again. I like men who know what they want and have a sense of humor.

I'm really noticing at home that age plays a role, but certainly not for me. I don't want to portray myself as perfect, but I live by the motto: a day without laughter is a day wasted.
