I hope there's still a man out there who wants to be my other half, my sweetheart, my partner, my everything. I've been single for five years now and I'm eagerly awaiting the man who likes me.

To be completely honest, I'll just write here that I'm deaf. I wasn't born that way, so I'm not deaf and mute. I can communicate well through lip reading and sign language. It doesn't stop me from pursuing a man; I hope to find a man who's comfortable with this.

Do you still want a woman who is a bit older? I thought men wouldn't be interested anymore, but my daughter told me that wasn't true at all and that I shouldn't be so insecure.
