The relationship I'm looking forward to is based on love, trust, and mutual respect. My ex possessed none of these qualities, and I'm so glad I didn't have a long marriage with him.

My husband and I used to live quite unhealthy lives. Since his passing, I've taken the step to completely change course and focus solely on sports. Right now, I'm realizing that being alone is truly alone, and I'm looking for a buddy to help me enjoy life again every now and then.

It probably won't surprise you when I say I'm in a committed relationship but feel a lot is lacking at home. I hear it a lot from friends who have the same problem. Apparently, there are a lot of great guys here, so I'm curious.

I've been disappointed by the men here several times now. I just can't imagine that all men are the same and that they'll all abandon me. Every time I meet up, I end up alone again. And all I want is a fun, enjoyable time. No obligations, no hassle, just plain fun. It has to work out sometime!
